<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong> The Cloud Services Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that align with our client’s business goals and technical requirements. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on implementation skills. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the company’s cloud infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-effective.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Cloud Solution Design:</strong> Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.</li>
<li><strong>Implementation and Deployment:</strong> Lead the deployment and configuration of cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).</li>
<li><strong>Cloud Security and Compliance:</strong> Implement and maintain robust security and compliance measures across cloud platforms, ensuring data integrity and regulatory adherence.</li>
<li><strong>Performance Optimization:</strong> Analyze and optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to maintain operational excellence.</li>
<li><strong>Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication:</strong> Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.</li>
<li><strong>Innovation and Continuous Improvement:</strong> Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and best practices. Evaluate new services and recommend enhancements to the cloud architecture.</li>
<li><strong>Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:</strong> Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure data availability and resilience.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a strong track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions.</li>
<li>Expertise in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with relevant certifications preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with cloud security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).</li>
<li>Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation frameworks.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>
