Director, FP&A – Indianapolis
Location: Carmel IN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes of our international organization and portfolio companies.
- Assist with analyzing monthly financial statements and report on variances in budget and trends.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the company’s strategic goals
- Review and Report on monthly product line profitability report (PLPR) and customer contribution margin report.
- Planning of balance sheets and cash flows forecasting of entities across multiple currencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.
- Evaluate the need for any risk management and hedging opportunities, including foreign currency, interest rate risk and commodity exposures.
- Review and supporting quarterly financial statements, MD&A, and annual reporting.
- Assist Corporate Tax Department in Forecasting for Income Tax Planning and forecasting.
- Identify areas of improvement and automation efficiency, including documenting and perform testing of internal controls within the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Facilitating the capital allocation process, ensuring resources are optimally deployed to support business priorities
- Enhancing financial systems and processes to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and data-driven decision-making
- Supporting special projects as they arise, such as M&A due diligence, business combinations, automation projects, and other process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of accounting under USGAAP
- CPA designation preferred
- 8+ years accounting/finance experience.
- Previous FP&A, Controller or Internal/External Audit experience utilizing an ERP system a plus.
- Public accounting and consumer products industry experience preferred.
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus, MUST be fluent in English. Spanish speaking skills is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to act and operate independently and work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
