Director of Pricing – Chicago, IL

They are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Pricing to lead our pricing strategy and execution. You will be responsible for developing pricing models and key performance metrics, conducting market analysis, and ensuring competitive pricing. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and finance teams to drive profitable growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies.
• Conduct detailed market analysis to make informed pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor pricing.
• Analyze and optimize product profitability.
• Lead pricing negotiations for large accounts and opportunities
• Provide guidance and training to the pricing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing strategy or related roles, preferable within durable goods
industry.
• Background in 2-step distribution, Retail/DIY and Industrial OEMs
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in pricing software and data analysis tools, experience with Epicor ERP, Salesforce CRM, and or
CPQ tools helpful.
