Finance Special Projects Manager (Hybrid) – IL/MI

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Special projects assigned by the CEO and CFO
• Ability to take a project assignment and work in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage through ambiguity or complexity, and ability to lead others without formal authority
• Ability to build relationships cross functionally and collaborate with functional leaders to achieve objectives
• Responsible for gathering and synthesizing both operational and financial information, generating key insights
that drive both process and profitability improvements
• Coordinates with Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales on key metrics and their
impact to the financials
• Champion continuous process improvement in financial processes and margin reporting
• Drive initiatives to achieve financial targets
• Participate in monthly financial reviews and analysis
• Key success criteria include analytical and project management skills, intermediate / advanced Excel skills
• Travel (25% to 40% per month, depending on projects)

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
• Manufacturing experience
• 5+ years of relevant analytical experience
• FP&A experience
• Financial modeling experience
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Familiarity with business analytical tools (BI, Tableau) a plus
