Maintenance Manager

Location: Prince George VA

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Manager whom will report to the Maintenance Director at Prince George plant.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understands how to keep the people, process, and equipment safe and functioning correctly each day to support a continuous improving environment for all team members.
  • Plans and directs maintenance activities.
  • Reviews and analyzes maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of issues within production.
  • Coordinates maintenance activities with production to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
  • Responsible for providing feedback to the workforce periodically on their individual performance and how well they comply with company policies and expectations.
  • Assures that all prescribed records and documents are properly completed and maintained.
  • Develops and implements preventative and predictive maintenance and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and downtime.
  • Guides, directs, and coaches employees to timely completion of work activities and measures performance against predetermined process goals.
  • Responsible for providing feedback to the workforce periodically on their individual performance and how well they comply with company policies and expectations.
  • Performs other required tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in design, engineering, maintenance, technical engineering, operations or a related field, or equivalent via education and/or work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced changing business environment.
  • Familiar with manufacturing, safety and quality process concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Work effectively in hot (120) and cold temperatures for long periods of time
  • Experience in Hydraulic systems, Electrical systems, Pneumatic systems, and Welding & Fabricating
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Provide communication to workforce via written, visual, and electronic methods to build agreement and understanding.
  • Strong time management skills with attention to detail.
